Job Description

Supply Chain Director, North Asia, One Leading chemical company
Report to: Regional General Manager
Location: Shanghai


  • Cover the region of Greater China, Korean and Japan.
  • Directs all supply chain activities within the Region including strategy development & execution, cost control, safety and people development to ensure that company's customer requests are met in a timely manner.
  • Directs the management and daily execution of all Regional Supply Chain functions which include customer service, warehouse & transportation, purchasing plans, inventory control and planning.
  • Responsible for ensuring that supply chain costs, inventory & delivery performance targets are met
  • Provide leadership to effectively drive the organization's development of a high performance management technique. Ensure professional development, training and succession planning for the organization
  • Management of 3PL providers.
  • Track and improving key regional KPI performance vs. targets
  • Management of samples and Lead Product Stewardship.


  • Bachelor's Degree is a must, master's degree or similar advanced degree will be a plus.
  • Holding the majority in supply chain, business management.
  • More than 10 years working experience in chemical or similar industry.
  • Ability to quickly develop an advanced understanding of business and cross-regional capabilities related to inventory management, logistics processes, EHS, production, legal requirements and company's policies
  • Proven leadership, global perspective and influencing competencies to operate effectively in a complex and culturally diverse global matrix organization
  • A practical understanding of Integrated Business Planning
  • Experience in the Chemical Industry preferred
  • Ability to interact globally with personnel internally and externally, and must demonstrate clear leadership capability and initiative
  • Strong interpersonal management skills to build cross functional and cross regional teams.
