Job Description

Responsibilities / Accountabilities

1. Develop, deliver and execute stakeholder mapping, investigation and insight generation to support HTA strategy

2. Develop China HTA positioning according to HTA environment and portfolio across therapeutic areas

3. Closely work with Global health system strategy team, navigate the major markets HTA mechanism, especially on Oncology, Rare disease and biosimilar, and generate insight to inform HTA strategy and provide appropriate training and technical guide

4. Work closely and contribute to HTA consensus, guideline and related technical playbook development

5. Lead HTA advocate tactics to shape appropriate HTA environment in China and value based decision-making system

6. Develop and maintain long-term partnership with external HTA KOLs to support HTA positioning

7. Closely monitor dynamic payment reform in China which impact HTA strategy, like DRG, risk-sharing contract and actively involved in market access strategy and related solution development

Qualification and Experience


Master or higher degree on health policy, health economics, public health or related area

  • 5+ years experiences in HEOR/HC Policy/Market research/strategic planning strategy background in pharmaceutical industry or consulting
  • Strong knowledge of the reimbursement environment in China
  • Thorough understanding of the purpose and need for Health policy and HTA with a proven track record of successful execution of projects
  • Experience in health policy, like DRG payment system, HTA and market access strategy in pharmaceutical industry or with a recognized specialist consultancy
  • Customer-centric approach, being able to understand customer needs and deliver value adding outcomes with quality, on time and in a resource efficient manner
  • Proactivity proposing creative, practical and scientifically solid solutions for complex problems
  • Superior interpersonal skills and communication skills, especially presentation skill
  • Fluent in English
