Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with project management (including Responsive and Continuous Assortment projects)

o Identify project stakeholders and understand implications to them, dependencies and risks
o Create project plans and document objectives/activities/milestones
o Manage workstreams, track cross-functional progress, and create regular updates on project status
o Assist with change management and communication plans

  • Review and forecast Responsive products

o Forecast inventory and demand monthly to determine chase/cut needs
o Provide recommendations to IM and Allocation teams, and coordinate Responsive process
o Support and review Merch/Buyingˇs seasonal Responsive booking

  • Create, maintain, and train on excel tools

o Support those owned by Product Ops including Buy Planning tools, GO RTL/ONL Consolidation tools,
BOP/Carryover Forecasting tools, Discount Review tool, Category Heatmaps, APS reports, etc

  • Provide seasonal pricing reports

o Conduct analysis of historical price performance to determine pricing and margin opportunities
o Lead benchmarking to understand competitor ticketing and in-season price management

  • Support system configurations

o Coordinate with global and China teams to update PETE configurations for each season
o Present/share the latest configurations across China teams, and gather updates needed
o Ensure configurations reflect updates

  • Engage with franchise and other external partners
  • Guide junior team members and check their work as the first line of review prior to Sr Managerˇs review
  • Ad hoc analysis

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

  • Intermediate analytical skills, including statistical analysis
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools and visualization such as building reports, dashboards, and tools
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and other MS Office applications including Powerpoint, Word, and Visio
  • Financial acumen and understanding of retail math
