Job Description

Our client is a large European Financial Services organisation with a strong global brand. This role represents an outstanding opportunity for a strong Compensation professional to join a top-tier organisation and be part of its continued growth. The position will be based in HK.

Reporting to the Director of Rewards, APAC, you will work closely with clients in developing and implementing executive compensation and rewards strategies as well as working on compensation analysis and interpretation and pay and reward initiatives. Specifically, you will be responsible for reviewing and developing current executive compensation programs, creating tax effective plans, monitoring compensation trends, as well as effectively communicating and working with the most senior executives in the region. This is a very high-touch role and you will also have responsibility for managing regulatory issues and will work directly with the remuneration committee, presenting board papers where needed.

Degree qualified, you must have a minimum of 10 - 15 years' compensation experience working within fast-paced multinational environments or consulting firms in Asia, preferably with previous exposure to the financial services sector. A strong background in executive compensation is essential. Fluency in English is also required, as is an energetic, proactive and flexible approach. Above all you must have the confidence and credibility to work at the very senior levels of our client.
