Senior Infrastructure Engineer, Alternative Investments

Key responsibilities include:

• Support and help engineer massively scalable, cutting-edge storage and compute infrastructure for a high performance cloud
• Feedback experiences and knowledge of production environments to wider team
• Pilot critical emerging infrastructure technology
• Help define, challenge, and support infrastructure standards and decisions
• Collaborate with other technology groups to provide expertise

Key requirements include:

• Bachelor Degree in IT or relevant fields
• Minimum 5 years' specialized experience in production engineering/site reliability engineering
• Proven experience testing and deploying large-scale solutions to a production environment
• Hands-on experience with NIS, DFS, AD Concepts
• Experience administering systems like Netapp, GPFS and/or Avere
• Knowledge of one or more distributed file/storage systems such as FGS, CEPH, Lustre, NFS, Bittorrent, Octopus
• Solid programming and scripting skills - BASH and Python
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to be available out of business hours to support the business
