Our client is a recognized player in the fast-moving consumer goods industry. As a result of continuous business expansion, they are now actively seeking to hire a Regional Supply Chain Manager to be part of the team.
Reporting to the Regional Head of Supply Chain, you will be responsible in leading the supply chain team and manage the region joint venture business as well as the distributor market to help achieve sales and marketing targets. You will also be responsible for implementing service level measurement and develop action plans to help drive better service across all business in the region. You will be involved in integrating and streamlining end to end supply chain operations to continuously drive product improvement. You will also be responsible for working with the various business to help drive operational excellence and best practices within supply chain. You will also oversee the demand and supply planning function including the order to cash function for the travel retail and distributor markets. You will also be responsible for working with the global supply team and the commercial team to ensure the maximum level of stock fulfilment. You will also monitor the inventory trend in the joint venture business and also help to ensure inventory level is within targets while minimizing excess and obsolete stock level. You will also work closely with the global supply team and inform them on potential out of stock or low stock risk from time to time. You will also work with the various stakeholders to identify contingency plans on stock shortage. You will also help to support global and local projects on process and system change and help to drive cost savings within the business.
Ideally, you possess a degree in business or supply chain and have at least 5 years of experience in end to end supply chain operations and be familiar with demand and supply planning. You will possess in-depth knowledge of S&OP and order to cash function. The ability to work in a fast pace organization will be crucial in this role. In order to be successful in this position, you will need to be results and customer-oriented and be meticulous in nature. The ability to work well with the various cross-functional business divisions will be a key to success in this role. An added advantage will be given to those who have experience in the retail or consumer goods industry.
