Our client, a global Software as a Service (SaaS) Company is looking for a Regional Sales Director to look after the ASEAN region. This is a newly created role as part of the global expansion.
The Regional Sales Director will have full ownership and responsibility for managing sales activities and ensuring the achievement of significant new revenue growth targets. As a Sales Director, you will manage and grow a globally distributed team responsible for direct sales in the ASEAN region.
You must be able to articulate a clear vision and set the overall strategy and goals for the business. You will identify new opportunities in industry verticals and driving expansion into them. You will support your direct reports by participating and leading in some sales meetings and engaging other corporate resources as required.
Ideal candidates must at least 14 years of proven software sales experience with expertise in sales management, territory management, and with proven ability in building and developing high-performance teams. You must have regional exposure with an excellent understanding of growing and sustaining businesses in a highly competitive and changing marketplace.
You must have sound business acumen skills; and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. You must have experience working within a high-growth technology company with the ability to operate successfully in a lean, fast-paced organization and to create a vision and organization that can scale quickly.
