Our client is an international healthcare company seeking a Regional Marketing Manager, Asia Pacific to accelerate brand marketing initiatives and implementation across Asia Pacific.
You will be responsible for the overall marketing strategy and execution of plans in Asia Pacific. You will develop a comprehensive understanding of company brand portfolio, competition and customer needs and support strategy, execution and market roll-out of brand initiatives. You will collaborate closely with in-country Sales and Marketing and cross-functional teams to ensure a robust marketing strategy, product positioning, messaging, branding and activation are in place.
You actively engage with Key Opinion Leaders, Healthcare Professionals and channel partners in focused markets to increase awareness, recommendation, usage and purchase of company brand portfolio. You also provide compelling consumer/patient insights and apply them to develop and differentiate marketing concepts, evidence-based claims as well as product experience. You will support channel partners in preparation for product launches and work closely with the regional teams in opening new markets as necessary.
You develop and maintain a close working relationship with country teams to achieve alignment on strategies, plans and actions. You will also be responsible for strategic planning and execution of mass consumer events that drive brand awareness, contributing to and executing thought leadership around individual events that support overall sales & marketing goals and key message. You will also develop integrated marketing communication initiatives and channels including digital marketing platforms that are effective and appropriate for the intended audience.
Ideally, you have more than 8 years of experience in regional marketing or brand management in Pharmaceuticals or Consumer Health industries across international or multicultural markets. Experience in digital marketing and medical marketing as well as driving scientific meetings/KOL development highly preferred.
You possess strong event marketing experience that includes developing and producing events through solid positioning, messaging, event planning, contract negotiating, and cross-functional relations to ensure flawless execution at each event. Familiarity with competitive event landscape and bring new ideas to the table both at the strategic and executional level.
You have excellent verbal and written communication and decision-making skills. You possess assertiveness and persuasive personality to collaborate with multi-functional and multicultural team members across the region. Able to work well under pressure, with tight deadlines, and cope with changes.
