Our client is a US MNC in the chemicals sector and Singapore is the APAC HQ.
They are currently looking to recruit a Regional Head of Logistics and Distribution.
Reporting to the Global Head of Supply Chain, you will be responsible for logistics and distribution for the APAC region. You will manage a lean team and based in the region. You will ensure timely international delivery of products and information to and from regional warehouses and manufacturing facilities, with a significant focus on cost management. Also, you will be responsible for developing processes and internal controls in alignment with the corporate requirements. You will be responsible for managing outsourced logistics activities & freight procurement.
Ideally, you possess a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Business or Supply Chain/Logistics management, with at least 10 years of relevant experience. Strong knowledge of international logistics, import/export, freight-forwarding and third-party warehousing is critical to the success of this role.
Experience working in the chemicals/pharmaceutical sector will be critical for the success of this role. As China is a big market, experience in managing logistics and distribution for the China market will be important for this role.
