Our client is a global pharmaceutical company seeking for a QC Laboratory Lead to be part of their dynamic team to develop and deliver quality, innovative and advanced therapies of the world's most complex and critical conditions.
You are responsible for leading the QC Lab in an operational state in compliance with cGMP's and corporate and site procedures as well as regulatory compliance. You will be responsible for managing all activities associated with release testing on finished API and incoming raw material testing and In-process control samples. You will lead, maintain and review all documentation relevant to the Laboratories and advise on specification changes where necessary.
You will lead, motivate and manage Laboratory team towards achieving day to day and long-term goals as well as recruitment and development of direct reports. You will act as liaison with Warehouse/Planning/Manufacturing and Production Teams regarding sampling and testing schedules/priorities and actively participate in internal and external audits and follow up on audit findings.
You will provide guidance to personnel to resolve problems with instruments, test methods, lab chemicals, standards and samples and ensure management is kept informed of system failures on a regular basis to ensure corrective/preventive action is taken where required. You will also ensure the resolution of specific manufacturing quality problems as required and provide supervision on the handling of laboratory events/exceptions like OOS, OOT.
Ideally, you have at least 8 years of pharmaceutical experience in an analytical testing environment within the Quality department with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of leadership experience. You have a Bachelor Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences or equivalent qualifications.
You have experience and knowledge in regulatory and legal pharmaceutical requirements. Experience and knowledge in handling of laboratory events and exceptions as well as experience in evaluation of analytical results and analytical test methods. You collaborate well with internal, external and national/international colleagues.
You have a strong analytical mind with good problem solving and writing skills. You are highly motivated and independent, organized and result-oriented. You possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work within cross-functional teams and ability to work under tremendous pressures.
