Job Description

The main responsibility for this position is to lead the Patient Access department for a
clinical location. This is an important leadership position that requires a mature and
proactive person to take the lead. As a Manager level position, this placement will
require management and training of other team members. This position will need to
understand clinic/hospital processes and work directly with other departments to
satisfy the health and wellness of our patients.

Take leadership on issues important to clinical site
Meet the strategic and operational goals of the company
Understand clinic/hospital workflows for clinical site
Resolve patient issues and deliver great service to customers
Train and develop team members to fulfill the needs of their role
Represent that Patient Access team during interdepartmental meetings
Assist with other clinic- or hospital-wide initiatives
In charge of the insurance verification and pre-authorization
Cooperate with patient financial service team to ensure payment.

Lead initiatives important to the clinical location
Excellent customer service leadership
Ability to recruit, hire, and train new team members
Good problem-solving and team work ability
Basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Communicates ideas clearly and concisely
Be able to coordinate across departments to meet patient/department needs
Proactive to solve customers' problems and build professional relationships
Professional English skill (ability to talk with and write emails to patients)
