Our client is a local SME in the cleaning business and has an expanding base of more than 200 employees over here in Singapore. As a result of continuous business expansion they are now looking to recruit for an Operations Manager to be part of their exciting team.
Reporting to the Director, you will be responsible for planning and deploying supervisors for daily assignment which includes ferrying of workers, delivery of cleaning supplies and managing cleaner's orientation. You will also be responsible for coordinating with client on cleaning schedules and also work with the supervisors on daily route and real time changes due to last minute leave or mc. You will also be responsible to schedule daily, weekly, monthly schedules and also conduct daily briefing at end of the work day. You will also be responsible for attending to client's feedback and follow up on liaison work and also at the same time monitor the daily time attendance and punctuality of all supervisors and floaters. You will also manage and approve and submit daily attendance of supervisors, floaters and cleaners and work with payroll team for processing. You will be responsible for maintaining low turnover of cleaners and help to ensure supervisors work towards filing up the vacancy. You will also be instrumental in conducting weekly checks at client's place for service quality and also check and approve cleaning supplies for projects. You will also be responsible in assigning supervisors to collect back cleaning equipment and supplies upon end of contract with clients. You will be responsible for monitoring and improving the service quality of the overall cleaning team. You will also work closely with sales on commencement of new project such as deployment of coordinating and deploying of the cleaners. You will also attend to new and existing sales enquiries and prepare the company for government tenders including site visits, preparing quotations and submission online and etc. You will also be responsible for preparing and submitting applications for yearly NEA licensing and clean mark renewal and also prepare the company for Biz Safe3 renewal.
Ideally you possess at least a diploma and have at least 8 to 10 years of operations experience in the cleaning industry. In order to succeed in this role you will need to possess excellent interpersonal skills and help build great rapport with the supervisors, cleaners, floaters and operations officers. Added advantage will be given to those who possess a Class 3 driving license.
