Job Description

Our client is a leading global financial services firm with an unparalleled reputation across global markets and a successful track record in Asia. With additional growth planned, the need has arisen to recruit a senior HR professional of the highest caliber, to join their team in Hong Kong. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Business Partner to become part of a highly professional organization with a well-established presence in Asia Pacific.

Reporting to the Regional Head of HR, and working as part of the regional HR team, this position will drive all HR services, policies and programmes to support the Company's strategic objectives. The incumbent will be required to business partner closely with senior line management and provide HR advisory to support a population spread across the region. Specifically, you will be involved in a diverse range of HR projects and initiatives around strategic manpower planning, retention and leadership development always acting in an advisory capacity.

The successful candidate will be a degree qualified HR professional with at least 10 years of relevant experience from working with HR in best practice, complex and matrix environments in an Asia Pacific capacity, ideally within fintech / financial services / insurance sectors. There will be a strong project element to the role within the context of a change mandate and experience in managing HR projects across borders in Asia will be valuable. You will have a 'hands-on' and results orientated approach, as well as the ability to think strategically. You must have excellent interpersonal skills, a high level of initiative and the ability to drive and lead change. Fluency in English is essential with Cantonese and Mandarin being preferred. Above all, you must have the passion, energy, credibility and maturity to deal with a dynamic role in a challenging environment.
