Job Description

Our client is a large global corporate with a strong remit to expand in APAC through actively balancing its portfolio of business activites. This has resulted in upcoming M&A, Divestiture and JV activities. In order to reap the benefits and synergies, it is critical that these activites are managed successfully not just at all levels but also on all fronts including business, people, culture, systems, processes and risks.

The HR Project Manager, APAC role is an interesting new role which will lead and deliver these M&A and related projects from due diligence to integration, working with the relevant HR and business stakeholders. You are the trusted advisor who will develop and build the internal expertise and best practices, alignment and consistency in managing these projects. This could be in terms of tools, practices, approach, mindset and capabailities. To balance the downtime in such business activities, you will also be responsible for leading major global/regional HR projects with strategic imperatives and significant impact.

This is a challenging yet exciting role. It would require someone who is technically and conceptually sound with strong relevant experience and knowledge of best practices in M&A, Divestiture and JV. This could be in a corporate and/or consulting environment. You must also be an effective communicator, are proactive and possess strategic thinking with the agility and ability to work in a complex and matixed organisation.
