STRATEGY - As part of the Global Talent Acquisition leadership team contribute to the Global Talent Acquisition strategy, tactics and plans, representing the Greater China regional long, medium and short term resourcing priorities, in order to ensure we achieve our global and local Talent Acquisition goals
RESOURCING OPERATIONS - Create, implement and sustain Talent Acquisition strategies, systems and processes for Greater China to attract and recruit the best talent in the marketplace in a timely manner, to support the organisations achievement of its objectives
EARLY CAREER- Create and lead the engagement strategy for schools to help build the employer brand for robust resourcing capacity of entry level management recruitment.
LINE MANAGEMENT - Manage the performance of the recruitment team members. Coach and support them, providing appropriate developmental feedback and support.
CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT - Develop and maintain strong customer relationships [both with senior Operations/Corporate managers and with HR Directors/VPs/SVPs] meeting and where possible exceeding their expectations of the Resourcing support provided by you and your team.
CANDIDATE ATTRACTION & INNOVATION - Use creative, effective and efficient candidate attraction strategies [encompassing online and offline media, recruitment agencies, advertising and direct sourcing] and tactics to attract the very best talent in the marketplace . Ensure all talent acquisition strategies support and are in line with our employer brand standards.
ASSESSMENT PRACTICES - Ensure we use the most effective, efficient recruitment and assessment tools, providing recruiters/line managers with appropriate training and support
QUALITY ASSURANCE - Ensure robust quality assurance processes and monitoring is in place [including contingency plans for issues arising] and provide regular management information to illustrate the quality of service provided to candidates, recruitment managers, line managers and HR Business Partners. Effectively manage problem resolution.
CORPORATE GOVERNANCE - Ensure that our Talent Acquisition procedures [from attraction, recruitment, verification checks, right through to onboarding] comply with prevailing legislation & mitigate risk to the organisation, as far as is reasonably possible
CELEBRATE DIFFERENCE - Ensure that our Talent Acquisition procedures [from attraction right through to onboarding] support diversity, encourage an inclusive culture that celebrates difference and are free from [explicit and implicit] discrimination or bias.
ONBOARDING - Ensure our policies, processes and systems support an outstanding onboarding experience for our new hires, honouring our commitment to them to have 'Room to have a great start'.
RESOURCING SYSTEMS - Oversee the management and development of the Greater China eResourcing system that the Resourcing Systems Manager does for the Greater China region. Drive usage of the China eResourcing System in Shanghai corporate office and hotels and promote the benefits of the system to hotel recruiters, hiring managers as well as hotel GM and owners group by driving the traffic through online job boards, social media and all other related channels. In doing so ensure the system provides meaningful and accurate management information and use this information to improve Resourcing practices across the region.
TARGETED RESOURCING - Work with internal stakeholders to proactively identify specialist/technical/senior hard to fill roles and develop strategies and tactical plans/initiatives (various talent attraction programs) to fill the gaps
INTERNATIONAL MOBILITY - Working with our International mobility team manage and oversee immigration processes and services
VENDOR MANAGEMENT - Working with global procurement identify, appoint and review the performance of preferred recruitment agencies and other appropriate third parties to support corporate and hotel recruitment needs
GLOBAL INITIATIVES - Work with the global resourcing leadership team e.g. Resourcing directors from other regions in designing, developing and implementing new initiatives to address the challenges in Greater China region
BEST PRACTICE - Promote a creative, participative environment within the talent Resourcing organization with the end goal being the development of best practices across regions
