Our client is one of the top players in the asset management industry and is looking to build up their marketing capabilities in Singapore.
The marketing team is responsible for managing the brand in accordance with global and regional guidelines, ensuring the Southeast Asia market is leveraging and building on the Company's brand strength in the marketplace. The marketing team is responsible for developing and implementing the marketing strategy and activity for the various business channels, working in close partnership with the distribution teams and regional marketing resources to develop and implement key initiatives that include above and below the line marketing activities.
As the Head of SEA Marketing, the role is to lead the Marketing function in South East Asia, to ensure the company's products and services are effectively marketed through the Intermediary and Institutional channels thus increasing the company's sales, AUM and profitability. The company aims to be the premier provider of asset management products in the SEA marketplace and is committed to devoting the resources to make that transpire. Additionally, it is an organisation that deeply values the role and importance of the marketing discipline in reaching its goals.
In addition, this role is part of the APAC marketing leadership group and the SEA management team and will participate in both with the possibility of leading projects regionally as appropriate.
The ideal candidate should have at least 12 years of marketing experience with a proven track record in the following marketing disciplines: marketing strategy, brand management, product marketing, and digital marketing. Experience of working in the asset management or private banking space in a similar marketing mandate in Singapore/ South East Asia is a distinct advantage. Proven track record in an international corporate environment. A proactive communicator with proven ability to articulate and share the marketing vision, actively participate in and influence marketing discussions and build comprehensive internal networks within a global organisation. Superior English language skills, both written and spoken, are essential. Chinese language skills a distinct benefit.
