Expanding their international footprint rapidly, our client is a technology start-up with strong research and development focus and innovative solutions.
This position is responsible for setting up the Human Resources function in Singapore, providing professional consultancy and services to make sure of the successful execution of HR strategy, including operational activities and projects across recruitment, performance management/development, and compensation as well as office wide initiatives.
This includes being the HR expert advisor to all people related concerns including policies and partnering with the business. You will offer expert HR guidance to managers in the following areas: compensation and rewards, employee relations, career planning, performance management, coaching, and learning and development.
During the ramp up phase, recruitment will be an initial priority and you will be actively involved in the end to end recruitment and on boarding processes. You will also oversee the payroll processes and ensure competitive compensation and benefits for the team.
Ideally, you are degree qualified with at least 6 years' experience in a similar capacity within a global firm. Start-up experience would be an advantage. You will have strong business partnering/generalist experience particularly from a R&D focused company or within the IC/internet industries. Strong command of English and Mandarin is essential to the success of this role.
