Job Description

Our client is an enviable retail brand with a strong footprint across the globe. The need has arisen to hire a seasoned Human Resources professional of the highest calibre to join their strategic leadership team. This is a senior and critical position for the company and poses exciting challenges and opportunities for the successful candidate.

Reporting into the General Manager and heading up the HR function, this is a strategic role providing business partnering/advisory support with generalist responsibilities to the Management Committee, internal stakeholders and employee population at all levels. You will also plan, direct, and coordinate HR management activities in line with the corporate HR direction and local strategies. A diverse range of HR initiatives will be overseen and managed by this role, including administration, recruitment, C&B, leadership development, employee relations, always acting in an advisory capacity.

To qualify, you will be a passionate HR professional with a stable track record within generalist roles in best practice environments. Prior experience in brining transformational change to organisations will be a strength. You must have a strategic and commercial mind-set and a strong analytical ability with a flair for numbers. In addition, you must be highly agile, assertive a team player, have high levels of integrity and business acumen, excellent interpersonal skills be able to be 'hands-on' when required. Above all you must have passion, gravitas and a confident, results-driven approach. Trilingual fluency (English, Cantonese and Mandarin) is a prerequisite.
