Job Description

Our client is a well-regarded conglomerate with a strong extensive network of entities. Due to a continuous strategic move towards best practice Human Resource Management, an opportunity has arisen for a top-tier strategic HR professional to join their group team in Hong Kong.


Reporting to the CEO, this is a strategic HR Business Partner role with diversified responsibilities. The main focus of this role is to provide strategic HR direction and drive the true HR business partnering culture. You will be leading the HR strategy for this business in line with strategic business objectives including driving a cultural shift, working with the Group and local legislation to reinforce a high performing workforce and to retain the Group's values. The role will be required to business partner closely with functional leaders and departments. In addition, the incumbent will be involved in a diverse range of HR activities including talent management/learning and development, organisational development, recruitment, compensation & benefits, employee engagement, budget management, industrial relations management as well as high-level advisory work.


To qualify, you must be degree educated and a seasoned HR professional with a stable track record in best practice environments either operating in a lead role or a senior HRBP capacity. Broad generalist experience, good employee relations and business partnering skills are necessary for this role. You must have a strategic and commercial mindset and a strong analytical ability with a flair for numbers. Personality and attitude is a key attribute in the hiring for this individual. In addition to this, you must be hands-on, team-orientated and have a high level of initiative. Finally, you will be mature, assertive and able to liaise with all individuals within the business with confidence. Fluency in English is required with Cantonese and/or Mandarin being preferred.
