Our client is a well-regarded European multinational in the ecommerce and logistics industry and with continuous growth in their cross border ecommerce business, they are now seeking to recruit for a high calibre and driven Field Sales Manager to be part of their sales team.
Reporting to the Managing Director for Singapore, you will be responsible in generating the company's revenue and help drive revenue growth for the business. You will be responsible in managing potential customers and existing customers via personal sales visits to ensure effective communication with customers regularly in order to help meet and exceed sales targets. You will also be responsible in securing new businesses from new or existing customers and work within the set business strategy. You will also help to develop and maintain strong existing customer relations to ensure accounts performance. You will also help to develop and maintain strong customer relations to ensure accounts performance and farm them to their maximum potential and also reduce attrition rate and simultaneously minimise opportunities for competitors to gain an advantage. You will also lead and manage customers' presentations and proposals and conduct performance reviews together with customers as and when required with the Managing Director. You will also be responsible in handling all sales enquiries, prepare sales proposals and work in close collaborations with the pricing team for all rate related issues. You will also ensure that all customer issues relating to customer service, service recovery and credit control are coordinated and managed through the relevant department. You will also be required to conduct quality presentation and showcase the entire range of products and services to the customers and provide customers with a "one company" service or solutions provider. You will also be required to conduct periodic service performance review for the customers and set action plans to help improve and drive performance. You will also respond to customer enquiries and complaints and provide excellent customer service relating to all sales issues and provide alternatives to help improve customer service quality and help meet and exceed customers' expectations. You will also ensure that all customer information, pipelines and target achievements are all documented into the Salesforce system. You will consistently stay up to date and develop knowledge on all products and services within the business so that you are in a position to provide the best recommended solutions and help achieve excellent customer service with clients.
Ideally you have at least 5 years of relevant sales experience and have a proven track record in business development. You will be highly familiar within the ecommerce logistics, cross border logistics or the postal industry. In order to be successful in this position, you will possess excellent communication and presentation skills and be able to work in a resilient and fast moving and dynamic environment. Added advantage will be given to those who have extensive knowledge on the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
