Job Description

SUMMARY

The digital marketing manager role is responsible for developing, implementing, tracking and optimizing our marketing communication plans with a focus on digital marketing activities across all digital channels.

This role should have a strong grasp of current marketing tools and strategies and be able to lead integrated digital marketing activities from concept to execution. The digital marketing manager will work with the marketing team, supporting teams, and vendors to launch campaigns on time and on budget.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Planning and executing marketing communications with traditional media channels
  2. Planning and executing digital marketing campaigns, including web, SEO/SEM, EDM, social media and display advertising
  3. Maintaining and improving our social media presence across all digital channels and build strong relationships with our followers through social media interaction
  4. Identifying trends and insights, and optimizing spend and performance based on the insights
  5. Evaluating emerging technologies and providing thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
  6. Utilizing strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touchpoints
  7. Measuring and reporting on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns
  8. Keeping up-to-date with our audience's preferences and with digital technologies developments
  9. Liaising with Marketing, Sales, Design and Content teams to optimize customer experience and ensure brand consistency
  10. Identifying advertising needs collaborating with agencies and other vendor partners
  11. Establishing best practices in digital marketing

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS/MS degree in marketing, or advertising, or communications, or journalism, or digital technologies
  • Proven working experience in marketing communications with strong digital marketing experience
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) skills
  • Excellent project management skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years' experience in B2B digital marketing and advertising required with experience in B2C marketing also highly valued
  • Excellent grasp of social media and website metrics and best practices
  • External digital marketing agency experience preferred
