Our client, a start-up company in the Gaming industry is looking for a Community Manager that will be responsible for player retention and community development. This is a newly created role and a key stakeholder within the publishing team.
As a Community Manager, you will be accountable for establishing community advocacy and engagement to increase player retention. You will be responsible for developing and managing the communication strategy and the community platforms for players and player communities. You will be working in close collaboration with the marketing, development, and community teams to execute communication plans, making sure that is aligned with the product strategy.
The Community Manager will develop innovative plans, programs, and strategies to increase the reach of communication and community engagement, and facilitate community activities. You will be highly involved in developing community projects, including online and offline events or promotions.
Ideal candidates must have a minimum of 8 years experience in the video game community management. You must have a solid understanding of the current game and entertainment community and social media trends. You must have excellent interpersonal skills to interact with internal and external partners and comes with great project management skills. A strong understanding of and experience in the gaming industry is a must-have for this role.
