The Company

This is a global manufacturer and marketer of differentiated and specialty chemicals.


About The Role

Lead the commercial business in China,the business covers wide range of industries and markets, and has diversified product portfolio from upstream to the downstream formulated systems and tailor made solutions.




Other responsibilities include

* Serves as a member of Asia Pacific Leadership team
* Develop and implement China commercial strategy according to the Global and Asia strategy
* Deliver financial objectives (Sales revenues, Contribution Margin, etc…)
* Prepare and develop budgets and sales forecast
* Work closely with function leaders to ensure collective efforts to meet business needs, contribute to local policy development
* Partner closely with the marketing and technology directors and team, provide customers inputs and ensure proper launch of the new products
* Continuously uplift China Commercial excellence and further shift Downstream, drive delivery of performance
* Develop and maintain long term relationships with strategic customers at senior levels.
* Work seamlessly with regional function leaders to help implement functional strategy and plan in China, deliver functional performance target




About The Person

* A Master degree in Chemistry, Polymer, or other related disciplines, MBA preferred
* 15+ years in a progression of commercial and business leadership role in MNCs including 5 years with leadership experience. PU related experience preferred but not a must
* Experienced in managing multiple product market segments
* Must have had P&L responsibility and track record of growing business successfully
* Able to define challenges, create and execute business plans to drive growth and profitability
* Able to adapt to a quick-changing environment, responsive and deal with ambiguity
* Fluent in English and Chinese
* Strong people management skills, with the ability to drive performance and build performance culture
* Highly ethical
