Our client is a leading global insurance firm with an unparalleled reputation across global markets and a successful track record in Asia. With additional growth planned, the need has arisen to recruit a senior HR professional of the highest calibre, to join their team in Bangkok. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Business Partner to become part of a highly professional organization with a well-established presence in Asia Pacific.
HR Lead Role - Based in Bangkok
Reporting into the CEO and as an integral part of the HR leadership team, this position will be responsible for developing a best practice HR function in line with business objectives and supporting a population of more than 800 employees in Thailand. The incumbent will be required to business partner closely with senior line management and provide HR strategic advisory to support a population spread across the region. Specifically, you will be involved in a diverse range of HR work including recruitment, compensation and benefits, employee relations, learning and development as well as some operational work. In addition, this lead role will also be involved in a diverse range of HR projects and initiatives around strategic manpower planning, retention and leadership development always acting in an advisory capacity.
The successful candidate will be a degree-educated HR professional with an outstanding track record working in best practice, complex and matrix environments, preferably within the Financial Services sector or MNCs. There will be a strong project element to the role within the context of a change mandate. You will have a 'hands-on' and results orientated approach, as well as the ability to think strategically. You must have excellent interpersonal skills, a high level of initiative and the ability to drive and lead change. Fluency in Thai and English would be a prerequisite. Above all, you must have the passion, energy, credibility and maturity to deal with a dynamic role in a challenging environment.
