Job Description

1. Job Scope

A. Sales
- Establish sales budget of products in the designated area

- Ensure sufficient resources are available to realize the Company's sales targets, in consultation and agreement with General Manager

- Achieve sales target of the designated area

- Develop key account strategies for area to increase market share and profitability

- Identify both market and product development opportunities

- Make decision and provide feedback to management on distribution channels

- Set up and monitor pricing strategies and guidelines in responsible area

- Liaise with reporting manager/Business Management representative on price issues

- Direct accountability for key accounts

B. Marketing
- Formulate and administer the realization of marketing strategies for respective area based on technical performance of product range, knowledge and experience of products available in the DyStar range

- Develop key account strategies together with respective Area Manager and sales team

- Define strategies on logistic/distribution of products

- Coordinate with respective Business Management re country specific requirements on product management, marketing strategies, new Job Description Form - Global HR (C & B) Page 3 of 4
development and market trend and related issues for further discussion with Strategic Marketing

- Steer market surveys of designated area

C. Price Management
- Determine cost of all products

- Fix a min price on all products

- Liaise with sales Mgmt for special offer price to customers when deemed necessary. Prior approval of special offer is needed

- Customer Limit Price is based on cost and market situation

- Variable cost (raw material, utilities, etc)

- Conversion cost (Mgmt, personnel cost split among products)

- Cost will be reviewed on a monthly basis

D. Market Intelligence
- Aware of the Competitors' movement

- Through competitor product analysis together with BD team to find their strengthens and weaknesses

- Explore solution to respond to market needs, such as thro R&D, enhancement of our existing ranges

- Other tasks assigned by the General Manager

2. Required Experience

- Degree in Chemistry or equivalent

- Min 10 years marketing and sales experience in a textile coloration environment, with at least 5 years at managerial level

- Textile chemistry or relevant technical training

- Well-versed technical knowledge on textile chemistry

- Knowledge on business management

- Strong leadership, interpersonal, communications, negotiation, problem solving and analytical skill

- Proficient in English and Mandarin

- Diplomatic and tactful, pro-active, self-motivated, entrepreneurial thinking, team spirit, responsible, ability to work under pressure, flexible in adaptation of different culture.
