Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate in the business development of China strategy and be part of the core team to execute on the WFOE AMC plan
- Develop and maintain relationship with key strategic clients, partners and prospects. Drive the development of new business and business model, partnership…etc
- Develop strategy and plans to engage key digital natives and fintech platforms on content, robo advisory and other key business areas
- Conduct market research and perform analysis on key market trends as well as new policy developments
- Work with internal teams in HK and offices in other parts of the world to coordinate and resolve a wide range of issues related to different projects ranging from WFOE AMC, Robo advisory, mutual recognition of funds, QFII/RQFII…etc
- Prepare and distribute regular, ad hoc market update and management presentation
- Provide on the ground support for business development activities, senior management/foreigners visits and large scale marketing & business development events in professional, tasteful and cost effective way
- Prepare agenda and meeting minutes and participate in important meetings to provide translation support
- Work with internal stakeholders to source key data and obtain latest internal views on issues
Experience and Qualifications Required
- Above five years of professional experience in asset management, consulting, financial services and other related industries
- Strong analytical skills and business development mind-set
- Able to structure complex problems in a logical and explainable manner
- Strong can-do attitude with exceptional commitment to quality of work
- Dynamic individual who is a self-starter yet a strong team player
- Willing to be involved in a wide range of issues and activities from managing large scale event to managing the program of senior management visits to developing strategy presentation
- Strong communication skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin is a key requirement
- Familiarity and understanding of the investment markets and/or the funds management industry would be a distinct advantage but not a must
- Resourceful and independent, able to use their initiative and taking full responsibilities for completion of duties
- Flexible & excellent time management
- A willingness to demonstrate team work and be able to work under pressure and tight deadlines
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint (Chinese & English)
