Job Description

Reporting to the Global Head of Audit based in Europe, the APAC Head of Audit will be leading a team of five auditors in the region.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead and develop the Internal Audit function in the region
  • Develop, implement, and maintain a risk-based internal audit plan
  • Planning resources allocation in the APAC region
  • Co-ordinate all auditing issues and ensure constant and excellent communication with senior management
  • Quality assurance of working papers and audit reports
  • Quarterly reporting to Group Audit and where applicable to the Audit Committees of the assigned entities

Key requirements include:

  • University degree, preferably in Finance, Economics, or Actuarial Studies
  • Minimum 12-15 years' relevant experience in insurance internal audit, compliance, risk management or related functions
  • Relevant certifications such as CIA, CA, CPA
  • Solid people management experience
  • Confident and convincing manner
  • Solid command of oral and written English required
  • Willing to travel up to 40%
