Equity analyst (A shares generalist), buyside

Company Overview:

Our client, an international investment manager is looking an Equity Analyst (A shares) to join the team.

About the job:

• Conduct fundamental analysis across various sectors within China A share market
• Incorporate the understanding of China marco-economic market and government policy in research and generate investment recommendations
• Regular update and review the stock list and assist portfolio managers from time to time

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree holder with minimum 6 years of equity research within China A/H shares experience in buy-side/ sell-side institutions
• Sector coverage in real estate/ energy is a plus
• Excellent quantitative skills and experienced in incorporating China policy into research are key
• CFA, FRM or other related qualifications are an advantage
• Fluent in both spoken and written English and Mandarin
• Travelling to China will be required
